Late night reflection, giving in to a little give and take, I can’t wait so long to find a better way. ‘Cause we tend to realize, yeah we tend to realize much too late, Where we wanna go and what’s the best way. I wanted to be alone, where it’s comfortable and calm, I feel the same when I’m with you. They say it should be a sacrifice but it’s easy, yeah it’s easy. They say there should some pain involved but it’s easy, it feels natural. Now I believe it, pristine design entwined with love, It’s two below but now we’re both warm. We never realized, we never realized what’s ahead, Until we lost the light the sun shed.

They testified in the dead of the night, back when they said it's complicated trying to live in the light, But when the hourglass is faded and the photos are gone then we'll share. I read some answers that I don't want to know, and it shows the poets hands, they've been shaking with prose, And I know that he's a witness but he saw it alone and he's scared. Together we'll try this, and we both have some things to say. While we're on the ride, I live and I die for danger, I shouldn't be long here. We all feel ready, but we're not living. The cities riddled with their powerful scorn, and it's clear that their conditions left them out in the cold, A day's ambition was enough to be bold but things change. They took to leaving when the rally adjourned, and again I read the letters feeling pale as a ghost, In the place that we were meeting where the sun never shows, I remain. Together we'll try this, and we both have some things to say. While we're on the ride, I live and I die for danger, I shouldn't be long here. The struggle is timeless, But I still think your hearts the same. But that's not my place, I live in the face of danger, I think we belong here.

It’s better than I wanted, I can’t believe she even wanted me to come around. Picking out a flower, sweeter than the garden, I know I’ll come around, the furies coming down. I want to act better though, Can you put up with me a little while longer? She’s said “it’s not a problem; I’m here for you no matter where you want to take me.” I think this is perfection, I’ve never known it though, so maybe I’m just dreaming. The ringing bells are resonating through the city, I think you better come now the people here are singing. Shake a little but you will not fall, it’s time to call it, moving along. I can’t do it by myself any longer. Waiting up for you to come back home, I’m not living for myself anymore. It’s better than I ever thought that it could be though.

I'm out here all night. The waves still break to my delight. Another day will brighten up your eyes. These feelings won't stay so please believe me when I say that, "things will rise and fall with the tide." We are all at home when we're alone. I know that'll end. There's hope thats found beneath the sand. Days turn into weeks we're lost at sea, further than you know. I'm worried but the waters calm. I'm not going home. I swore it off a month ago. I'm shaking at the thought of letting go. It's something you feel. But aftershock is frightening. The stormy night is where I go to hide. I'm falling with the tide.
